Dauck, age 84, of Cross Plains Township, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 25, 2004, at Heartland Country Village in Black Earth.The former Irene Alice Anderson was born on Aug. 15, 1919, in Madison, to Hans and Birdie (Crueger) Anderson. She married Mertin J. Dauck on Aug. 2, 1941, at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Madison. She was a member of Vermont Lutheran Church and of WELCA.

She is survived by her husband Mertin; her children, Gloria, Mary, Terry, and Jean; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a brother, Phillip of Des Moines, Iowa; two sisters, Dorothy and Shirley; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant son, Steven; six brothers; four sisters; and two infant brothers.
