Mrs. Joanna Godschack [sic] of Melrose avenue, died Tuesday, Feb. 7, 1939, at Duncan Nursing home, age 87 years. Survived by son, Elmer Fones, city; sister Mrs. Loretta Sullivan, and brother, James Fulmer, both of Terre Haute, Ind.

Joanna is buried in an unmarked plot next to her husband Joseph. Both graves are unmarked as indicated by the windmill in the photo. Block 21, the largest Block in the cemetery, has hundreds of unmarked graves.
