ALLEN CRAMER, 93 ROCKFORD - Allen Cramer, 93, passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2012, in Broomfield, Colo. Born Aug. 22, 1918, in Stillman Valley; son of Roy and Edna Cramer. He lived most of his life in Rockford, and graduated from Central High School, Class of 1937. Allen and Jeanne (Wilcox) were married Oct. 18, 1941. Allen was a World War II veteran, serving in the Navy as a chief motor machinist in the Panama Canal and Pacific. After retiring from Chrysler, Allen and Jeanne enjoyed traveling throughout the United States, Europe, and the Caribbean. Member of Alpine Kiwanis Club and the YMCA for more than 25 years. Survived by his wife of 70 years, Jeanne; sons, Gary (Pam) of Ft. Myers, Fla., and Gale (Sheila) of Broomfield, Colo.; son-in-law, Mike (Lisa) Belk of Rockford; grandsons, Joshua (Heather), Benjamin and Kenneth (Rebekah); granddaughters, Megan (Marc) Mallone, Heidi (Jim) Hedges and Becky Belk; great-granddaughters, Nicole and Kailyn; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by daughter, Cindy Belk; parents; and brothers, Ralph and Harold. Memorial service will be held in Rockford at Fred C. Olson Funeral Home at a later date.
