Benjamin Claude Babb, Sr., 95, of 703 Mt. Lebanon Church Road, died February 17, 2013 at Hospice House of the Carolina Foothills.

A native of Greenville County, son of the late Homer and Hattie Babb, he was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII, a retired employee of Cunningham Waters after 35 years of service, and a member of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Emma Campbell Babb of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, Ben and Wanda Babb of Spartanburg and John and Carmen Babb of Twin Falls, Idaho; a sister, Lizzie Flynn of Greer; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Mark Smith. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Honorary escort will be the Men's Bible Sunday School Class.
Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at The Wood Mortuary.

The family is at the home.
