Gayle loved sharing special moments with her 11 grandchildren, and is also survived by three brothers and one sister. Gayle will be remembered as a devoted and caring sister, wife, mother, grandmother, teacher of 32 years, and friend.

Gayle and Kendall attended East Ridge Union Church in Mars Hill for 55 years. Gayle also enjoyed working on the family farm.
