MRS. THOMAS FERRON
CLYDE — The funeral for Mrs. Evangeline E. Ferron, 89, Clyde, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Clyde, Father Henry J. Kieffer officiating. Burial will be in the St. Joseph, Kan., cemetery.
Mrs. Ferron died Thursday at St. Joseph Hospital, Concordia. She was born Nov. 18, 1888, at Clyde. She was a lifelong resident of Cloud and Clay Counties, and a member of St. John the Baptist Church.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Effie Lapaille and Mrs. Jean Glenn, both of Clyde, and Mrs. Irene Billinger, Hays; two sons, Ovid, Vista, Calif., and Ralph, Independence, Mo.; two sisters, Mrs. Irene Hamel, Clyde, and Mrs. Alma Mclaughlin, Clifton; a brother, Vic Sorell, Clifton; ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Ferron's husband, Thomas, died in 1959.
The rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Chaput Mortuary, Clyde, where friends may call.
