Ina Marie Hall Grubb
UNION – Ina Marie Hall Grubb, 80, passed away peacefully with her family by her side Sunday morning, Feb. 17, 2013, at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center in Fairlea following an extended illness.
She was born at Union on July 8, 1932, a daughter of the late Earl Cecil and Rose Ann Bostic Hall.
Mrs. Grubb was a former employee of Bendix Corp. in Ronceverte and a retired employee of B.F. Goodrich at Union, and she was affliliated with the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Ernest Hall and James "Jimmy" Hall and a half-brother, Earl Hall Jr.
Surviving is her husband, George Allen Grubb Sr. of Union; two sons, George A. Grubb Jr. and wife, Alma, of Union and Jackie Lee Grubb and wife, Carol, of Quinwood; two brothers, Robert "Bob" Hall and wife, Lottie, of Pickaway, Charles Hall and wife, Elizabeth, of Union; a sister, Patricia "Patty" Weikle of Caldwell; three grandchildren, Lora Ann Grubb and companion, B. J. Harper, of Leslie, Lisa Renee Grubb and companion, Ernie Durham, of Lewisburg, Jason Lee Grubb and fiancée, Samantha "Sam" Cox, of Rainelle; four great-grandchildren, Logan and Matthew Denny, Charles and Savannah Harper; several beloved nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013, at Groves Funeral Home Chapel in Union with the Rev. Gary Baker officiating.
Burial will follow at the Green Hill Cemetery at Union.
Friends may call at Groves Funeral Home in Union from 6 to 8 pm. Friday.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105-3678.
