She was born Feb. 23, 1940, in Bloomer to the late Elmer and Margaret Watson.
She was a retired United Steelworker from Rheem Manufacturing in Fort Smith, a farmer, a master gardener and a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Terri Watkins; a sister, Margie Payton; and three brothers, Elmer Raymond Watson Jr., Bobby G. Watson and Danny Joe Watson.
She is survived by three daughters, Teresa Watkins-Franklin of the Lee Creek community, Tina Cluck of Evansville and Tammy Y. Watkins of Chester; two sisters, Clora Schriver and Jane Key, both of Van Buren; a brother, James Harold Watson of Chester; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Chester Freewill Baptist Church in Chester with interment to follow at Vaught Cemetery in Mountainburg under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home in Van Buren.
