Phyllis Fair, 83, formerly of Delphos, died June 19 in Florida. She was born April 14, 1925, to James and Chrystal Peters. She was also the granddaughter of Orvale and Joy Arnold of Delphos. She married Col. Stanley D. Fair, who preceded her in death after 60 years of marriage. Survivors include Jeffrey D. Fair PhD., Melissa J. Blacksmith and Chrystal A. Fair; and three grandchildren, Maj. Jeff Fair, Justin Fair, PhD., and Ben Fair. She was also preceded in death by a son, Stanley D. Fair Jr. Phyllis and Stan moved to Florida in 1999 where they were active members of the First Presbyterian Church. She was also a graduate of the Ringling School of Art, Sarasota, Fla., a member of the National Society DAR and a member of the Pennsylvania Watercolor Society.
