Christian Leader, Professor Emeritus, Dallas Theological Seminary, Author of more than 23 books, mentor to more than 10,000 Graduates of Dallas Seminary. Graduate of Wheaton College with Bachelors degree. He went on to earn a Master's degree from Dallas Theological Seminary. While continuing to teach he returned to Wheaton College Graduate School where he earned a Doctorate. Dr. Hendricks became a Professor at Dallas Seminary at age twenty-eight. He served the seminary community for more than 66 years. A number of his student went on to become leaders in the Evangelical Christian world. Professor Hendricks was a major presented for many seminars at the Billy Graham Training Center and a number of Promise Keeper stadium events. From 1976 to 1984 he was the Chaplain for the Dallas Cowboys Football team. In 1985 he established the Center for Christian Leadership. Throughout his career he worked with many different organizations including Campus Crusade for Christ, The Navigators, The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, Walk Through the Bible, and Inter-Varsity Fellowship. In 2003 he received the Tom Landry Excellence in Character Award from the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. In 2010 he received The Directors Award from The National Association of Religious Broadcasters. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the United States Army.
