Died 7:15 p.m. Monday, June 3, 1991, at Medical Center of Baton Rouge. She was 88, a native of Century, Fla., and a resident of Baton Rouge. She was a retired state employee. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., 1 p.m. to religious services at 3 p.m. Wednesday, conducted by the Rev. Jim Bain. Burial in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Survived by two sisters, Mrs. Winnie Wolfe, Jay, Fla., and Justine Paterson, Pensacola, Fla.; a son-in-law, Donald H. Spurlock Sr., Denham Springs; a brother, James Diamond, Tampa, Fla.; a grandson, Donald H. "Skipper" Spurlock Jr., Baton Rouge; and two great-grandchildren, Todd M. and Maggi L. Spurlock, both of Baton Rouge. Preceded in death by husband, A.M. Gray Sr.; a daughter, Eleanor Gray Spurlock; and a stepson, A.M. Gray Jr. Pallbearers will be Edward M. Spurlock, James Wolfe, Bob Bishop, A.B. Cutrer, S.E. Krouse and Donald H. Spurlock Sr. She was a member of Istrouma Baptist Church and Istrouma Chapter No. 162 of Order of Eastern Star, where she served as past matron and member of the Honor Club.
