SALISBURY - Margaret Marie McDonald Foutz, 76 , of 107 Courtney Lane, Salisbury, died Thursday, July 5, 2007 at Big Elm Nursing Center in Kannapolis.

She was born on Friday, June 12, 1931, in Cabarrus County the daughter of the late William Archie McDonald and the late Carrie Parnell McDonald.

She was employed by Cannon Mills, Kannapolis as a weaver. She was a member of Phaniels Baptist Church, Concord.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Hartsell Funeral Home, Concord. Service will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday at Phaniels Baptist Church, Concord. The Clergy will be Rev. Michael Taylor. Burial will be at West Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery, China Grove.

Survivors include her sons, Mike Foutz of Salisbury, Charles Foutz and wife, Alice, of Salisbury, and Darrell Foutz and wife, Christie, of Salisbury. daughter, Becky Walton of Salisbury, brother, Archie McDonald of China Grove; sisters, Sarah Singleton of Morganton and Maggie Page of Concord.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Harver Foutz, six brothers and two sisters. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
