Sallie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother. She was a full-time homemaker and especially enjoyed caring for family and friends. She loved her Lord and Savior, the church and her family. She will be missed by many.
Survivors include her children, Lucille H. Snelgrove (Calvin), of Blythewood, Billie Lee H. Jackson (Robert)of Lexington, Taussig "Butch" Moak (Cathy) of Blythewood, Teresa L. Jackson of Flat Rock, NC, Norman Moak (Donnette), of Blythewood and Mark Moak of the home; sisters, Mary (Barney) Brewer, Mickey (Mark) Hafey, Virginia (W.L.) Warren, Betty (Robert) Moak, and Nell Wylie; Sister in law, Hilda Mathis; 18 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; and 7 great great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, Sallie was preceded in death by her son, Johnny Lee Moak; son-in-law, Gladston Jackson; grandsons, Roy Jackson, Doug Snelgrove; granddaughter, Mechelle Snelgrove Chaney; brothers, Eldridge Mathis and Doug Mathis; and brother-in-law, Robert Wylie.
The funeral service for Mrs. Moak will be held 12 o'clock, Friday, February 22nd, at Saint Andrew's Lutheran Church in Blythewood conducted by The Reverend David Ludwick. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5 until 7 o'clock at Shives Funeral Home, 5202 Colonial Drive, Columbia.
