Martin Lee "Marty" Werline, 38, of Crane, Texas, formerly of El Dorado Springs, passed away Friday, February 8, 2013.
Funeral arrangements are by the Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home in Crane, Texas.
Marty was born September 10, 1974, in Oak Harbor, Washington, to Danny Werline and Nancy Foster Christensen.
Marty attended school in El Dorado Springs and later served honorably in the United States Army. After his service in the Army, he moved back to El Dorado Springs where he worked as a sawmill operator. He eventually moved to Fresno, California, where he worked as an electrician constructing wind generators. Marty also worked in demolition and never found a piece of construction equipment he could not learn how to operate quickly. Most recently he worked as a heavy equipment operator in the oil fields of Texas.
Marty was a dreamer and a free spirit. He would always have a story to tell, no matter who you were.
Survivors include his children: Katahn Cooper, Dalton Kennedy, and Max Werline, his girlfriend Jessica Mendoza, his parents Danny and Nancy, his brothers: Robert Shuler, Charles Reese, John Reese, Edward Reese, and Thomas Reese, his sisters: Catherine Hillis and Trisha Reese, his paternal grandfather Stanley Werline, and numerous nephews
and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Charles and Mary Robinson Foster and his paternal grandmother Margaret Werline.
Marty was beloved and will be remembered by numerous family members and friends. He will live on in our hearts forever.
