Funeral for Paul N. Denny, who died Saturday in a Portland hospital, will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the St. Johns Funeral Home. Private burial will follow.

Mr. Denny, who was 73 and lived at 4525 N.E. 10th Ave., was a retired automobile mechanic. An Arizona native, he lived in the Portland area for 40 years. He was a member of the Local 1005 of the Machinists Union.

Survivors include his wife, Eunice; two daughters, Sandra Calvello of Greenwich, Conn., and Shirley Cubitt of Los Alamos, N.M.; a brother, Jerry Denny of Twin Falls, Idaho, and six grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be contributions to the emphysema fund of the Oregon Lung Association. Oregonian, December 26, 1978.
