Funeral services for Omer Lenard Clark were held January 9th, at the South Campbellsville Baptist Church with Brother Simmone in charge. Burial was in Brookside Cemetery. Omer L. Clark, son of Charles and Mary B. Clark, was born in Taylor County, May 1, 1921. He died Jan. 7th at his home here. Besides his mother, he is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Edna Bishop, Mrs. Montra Perkins, and Mrs. Marie Cox, all of this city, and one brother, Everett Clark, also of this city. He had a half-brother, who survives him, Waldo Clark of Anderson, Ind. Pallbearers were Stanley Oaks, Chester Lawson, Bob Bridges, James Ware, Leroy Meyers, and Bill Meyers. ~The News-Journal, Thursday, January 13, 1949
