Mrs. Louis Abbet, 82, of Francis Creek, lifelong resident of the county, died Tuesday afternoon at the home of her son, Ferdinand, of route 5, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be held at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at the Urbanek and Schlei funeral home, and at 9 o'clock at the St. Ann Catholic church, Francis Creek, the Rev. Joseph Rauch officiating. Burial will be in the Holy Cross cemetery at Mishicot.
She was born Emelie Mathey in Gibson in 1866 and in 1885 was married to Mr. Abbet in Mishicot. They located on a farm north of the village which they operated for 30 years and then moved to Francis Creek. The couple observed its 60th wedding anniversary in 1945. Survivors are the husband; two sons, Ferdinand of route 5 and Edward of Two Rivers; daughter, Mrs. Otto Blaha of Two Rivers; seven grandchildren
and eight great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Altar society of St. Ann Church.
The body may be viewed at the funeral home after Friday noon, where the rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Friday.
