Stephen Dominick Bentivegna, 88, died on Monday, February 18, 2013, at 11:30 p.m. at York Hospital. He was the husband of Martha N. (Ness) Bentivegna with whom he celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary on October 30, 2012. There will be no viewing. Following cremation with Workinger-Semmel F.H. & Crematorium, Inc., York, burial will be at the convenience of the family in Holy Saviour Cemetery. Mr. Bentivegna was born August 16, 1924, in York and was the son of the late Leonardo and Leonarda (Granata) Bentivegna. He worked in radio advertising with such stations as WORK, WNOW and WRZE; was a graduate of York Catholic H.S Class of '42, served in the U.S. Army Air Corps, and was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. Mr. Bentivegna is survived by his wife; a son, Jack Stephen Bentivegna and wife Belinda of York; and a brother, Vincenzo Bentivegna. www.workinger-semmel.com
