James Arthur McNames (Mac) was born in Grenada, California on March 12, 1932 and passed away in Colorado Springs on February 13, 2013. He enjoyed a full life which included 22 years of service in the United States Air Force as a military policeman. While stationed in England, James met his wife Jean McNames who preceded him in death on February 23, 1997. The two settled in Colorado Springs, where he worked as an auto mechanic for 40 plus years before retiring. He is survived by three children and 3 grandchildren. Services will be held at 1:00PM on Saturday, February 23rd at The Springs Funeral Services, 3115 E Platte Avenue, Colorado Springs, CO 80909. Burial will be on February 27th at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Pikes Peak Hospice.
