Mrs. Alma McClure, born at Caney, Ky, March 2, 1860, died Friday, Jan. 22 at the age of 99 years, 10 months and 22 days. She was the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Haney and was a member of the Baptist Church. She made her home with Mr. and Mrs. Joe Frank Ferguson of Grassy Creek, where she died.
Survivors are her two daughters, Mrs. Nancy Ferguson of Grassy Creek and Mrs. Stella Buchanan of Hazel Green; and one son, Dr. Claude McClure of Indianapolis, Ind., and numerous grandchildren and great - grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday at the Grassy Lick Church with Rev. Joe Blevins and Rev. Kelly McGraw of Ashland conducting services.
Burial was in the Grassy Lick Cemetery under the direction of Potter Funeral Home of West Liberty.
Pallbearers were Charles M. Ferguson, James Gevedon, Bernard Buchanan, Lovaughn Buchanan, Jack Hutchins, Charles Ferguson, Jr., and David Motley.
