Harold F. "Buzz" Basinski, 85, passed away on Wednesday, February 20, 2013, with his loving wife by his side.

He was born on September 20, 1927, in Green Bay, WI to the late Edwin & Athlene (Monfils) Basinski.

Buzz graduated from East High School and attended college in Milwaukee.

He served in the Merchant Marines and later the U.S. Army during WWII.

Buzz earned his PGA Card in St. Louis at Greenbriar Country Club after five year and was the first PGA Pro at Brown County Golf Course, he was also the pro for Royal Scot and Woodside Golf Course. He had an entrepreneurial spirit and had several businesses including restaurants. Buzz enjoyed cooking and collecting cookbooks.

He had a passion for the Lord. He loved his family and spending time with them.

He married Cleo Demetrulias on September 7, 1949 in Belleville, IL, she survives. Other survivors include five children, Sandra (Dennis) Hinic, Pamela (Brian) Stich, Harold "Bud" (Georgia) Basinski, Jeffrey (Marlene) Basinski, and David (Stacy) Basinski; twenty one grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; sisters, Barbara Roffers, Shirley Lardo; and brother, Edwin Basinski.

He was preceded in death by his son, Keith Basinski; and sister, Patricia DeGrand.

Burial will be at King Cemetery.
