Nancy Angela "Angie" McBurnett, 69, of Chattanooga, TN, died Friday, February 22, 2013 at her home. She was born January 13, 1944 in Chattanooga, TN to the late George and Susie Mae Axmacher.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James D. McBurnett; and stepfather, Roy Lane.
Mrs. McBurnett was a 1963 graduate of East Ridge High School and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW post 98.
Survivors include son, David (Carleen) McBurnett; daughter, Suzy (Shawn) Crawford; stepson, Richard McBurnett; brother, Ronald Axmacher; eight grandchildren, Kevin, Katelyn, Bailey, Collin, Morgan, Kacie, Tyler and Anna.
Funeral services will be 1 Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Brother Chris Cordes officiating.
Interment will follow in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2-8 p.m. Sunday and from 4-8 p.m. Monday.
Arrangements are by Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 S. Moore Road, East Ridge, TN.
