Thomas W. Crew, a Wabash railroad conductor for many years, died Sunday morning in St. Mary's hospital of infirmities incident to old age. He was born in Leroy, Feb. 19, 1863. He lived in Decatur for the last 25 years.
Mr. Crew was a member of a Masonic lodge and the Presbyterian church. The following children remain, in addition his wife, Dorothy Gardner, Jackson, Tenn. and Frank S. Crew of Chicago. He also leaves the following brothers and sisters: D.H. Crew of Peoria, John E. Crew of Varna, F.L. Crew of LaMonte, Cal, Mrs. Elizabeth Isom of Gibson City, Mrs. Lona Hudson of Gibson City, Mrs. Ida B. Pinney of Decatur, Mrs. Matilda Wait of Rochelle and Mrs. Anna Johnston of East Moline.
The body is in Moran & Son Funeral home.
