OBITUARY

PEKIN - Larry E. Andereck, 60, of 1514 S. Seventh, an employe [sic] at Caterpillar Tractor Co., died at 2:55 this morning in Pekin Memorial Hospital, where he was admitted a week ago. He had been ill a year.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Kuecks Funeral Home, where friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. tomorrow. Masonic services will be conducted there at 8.

The Rev. R. L. Goode will officiate and burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens.

Born at Orion June 16, 1912, a son of the Rev. Wilford and Mrs. Viola East Andereck, he married Mary Buerkett in Rushville Sept. 16, 1961.

Surviving are his widow; one son, Wilford of Freeport, Tex.; a daughter, Mrs. Wilua [sic] Benedict of East Peoria; one stepson, Curt Schmelter of Groveland; a stepdaughter, [redacted] of Pekin; seven grandchildren; and a half-sister, Mrs. Ethel Love of Altona. He was preceded in death be a half-brother.

Mr. Andereck was a physical process technician at Caterpillar's East Peoria plant for 25 years. He was a member of Christian Assembly Church of Peoria; and Pekin Masonic Lodge 29, AF&AM.
