area March 21, 2003. He enjoyed the outdoors, camping, fishing, hunting with family and friends. Tom was a driver for Grand Valley Transit. His wife preceded him in death March 7, 2003. Survivors include his daughter Karen Powell and Phil of Denver, CO; his son Kirk Wands and Diane of West Jordan, UT; two grandchildren; and his brother John Wands and Virginia of Mesa, AZ. Cremation has taken place and no services are planned. Arrangements are under the direction of Callahan, Edfast Mortuary.
