Ellen Lenore Frizzell, age 98, was born on July 9, 1914 and passed away on February 8, 2013 in Brunswick, Ohio. In 1918, Ellen's mother passed away in a flu epidemic and she was adopted by a family in New Castle, Pennsylvania. After Ellen graduated from high school, the family moved to Canton, Ohio. Ellen was an active member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Perry Heights and loved to quilt, travel and sing in the choir.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifton in 1979, whom she married in 1939 and her son, David Frizzell who passed away in 1994. After her son's death, Ellen lived with Rev. Dennis and Lois Bewley. She was a loving wife, mother and friend

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Reed Funeral Home, Canton Chapel, where friends may call from 10-11 a.m. Interment to follow at Sunset Hills Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church.
