DEATH OF MRS. KIMBERLY
Mrs. Martha Strickler Kimberly was born in Clarence, Erie county, N.Y., December 28, 1829, and died August 6, 1904.
She was married to Marcus Kimberly, April 22, 1852, and came to Kansas in 1879 and settled in Dickin- (sic) county. She removed to Emporia nineteen years ago where she has since resided, with her only child, Mrs. W. C. Long, corner [of] Logan avenue and East street. Her husband died in March, 1890.
Mrs. Kimberly was a faithful Christian woman and did cheerfully the things her conscience required of her--she dealt justly, loved mercy and walked humbly with her God. The funeral was held at the Long home yesterday. Interment was made in Maplewood cemetery.
