Jacob Mineely, after a long illness of a complication of diseases, died between 9 & 10 o'clock yesterday forenoon at the Mineely home on Wertz Road, Stonycreek twp., aged sixty-five years. The deceased was born in Taylor twp., this county, but had been making his home in Stonycreek twp. for many years. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth (Wertz) Mineely, a sister of messers. John A. and George M. Wertz; a son Vincent Mineely, of Walnut Grove, and three daughters: Mrs. Solomon Harrison and Mrs. Jacob Berkebile, both of Stonycreek twp., and Miss Mary Mineely, who is seriously ill with pneumonia. He is also survived by ten grandchildren. The funeral will take place from Walnut Grove Church of the Brethren at 2:30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon. Services will be conducted by Elder Abram Fyock after which interment will be made in Grand-view cemetery.
