A retired commercial fisherman and member of Plumbers & Steamfitters Local Union 198, he died at 7:05 a.m. Friday, Oct. 25, 2002, at his home. He was 75, a resident of Plaquemine and a native of Pierre Part. Visiting was at Wilbert Funeral Home, Plaquemine, from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday. Visiting at the funeral home from 8 a.m. to 1:40 p.m. Saturday. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Clement of Rome Catholic Church, Plaquemine, at 2 p.m. Saturday, celebrated by the Rev. Cleo Milano. Interment in Grace Memorial Park. Survived by his wife of 51 years, Lucy LeBlanc Berthelot, Plaquemine; three daughters, a son, four sisters, two brothers,nine grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, Aurelie and Julia Templet Berthelot; and a brother, Felman Berthelot.
