Billy Wayne Lytle, age 21, of Douglas, passed away on Tuesday, March 21 at Coffee Regional Medical Center after a brief illness. He was born Oct. 5, 1984. His grandparents, Toby Burch, and Luther and Corrine Spires preceded him in death. His church membership was at Faith Mission Assembly of God.

Survivors include: His mother and stepfather Darlene and Donald Moore of Alma; his father and stepmother John William and Melissa Lytle of Douglas; his brothers John Wesley Lytle of Jesup and Christopher Jerome Lytle of Douglas; his stepbrothers Bryan McMillan and Michael Caves of Douglas; his half-sisters Ashley Moore of Alma and Meisha Lytle of Douglas; his grandparents Betty Burch and Vivian Youngblood of Douglas; his stepgrandparents Mackey and Rachael Caves of Douglas; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 23 at the the Sims Funeral Home Chapel, with

Soloist Linda Schwindle sang “Wish You Were Here” and there were taped selections of “So Hard To Say Good-by to Yesterday" and "Peace In The Valley." Graveside services with a taped selection of “I’ll Be Back” was provided by his family.
