A U.S. Armed Forces veteran of the Korean War, and a retired employee of the U.S. Post Office.
Mr. Arena passed away unexpectedly at Baylor Medical Center, Grapevine, Texas, following emergency surgery for an aneurysm, on Tuesday, August 8, 2000.
The family will receive friends on Friday, August 11, 2000, 6-8 p.m., at West/Hurtt Funeral Home, 217 South Hampton Road, DeSoto.
Services are scheduled for Saturday, August 12, at 11 a.m., officiated by the Rev. Tim Gollob.
Interment will follow at Rhodes Cemetery, DeSoto.
