Morris Malone married Olive James January 1, 1912 in Chariton, Iowa. They moved to Marinette County in 1917. They moved their household goods by boxcar from Iowa to the Redeman farm, between Amberg and Athelstane. Morris spent his time farming and was active in the Amberg Presbyterian Church.

Two sons were born in Iowa:
Dean was born 1917, who married Joy Buckman and was killed in an industrial accident.
Myron James born March 13, 1913, married Ruth Bolander and Myron was a minister and retired in 1969. Myron died May 2, 1996 in Anoka, Minnesota. He and Ruth had four children: Clifford, Beverly, Carol and Paul.
