Norman E. Mallang, Sr. was born in Everett July 30, 1927, to Edward A. Mallang Sr (1904-1990) and Beatrice I Mallang (Moore)(1904-1998) of Everett, Wa.
Norman was 85 when passing away peacefully February 21, 2013 at Josephine Sunset Care Center, in Stanwood, WA.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria M. Mallang (Fannin), in September 1978, and his only sibling Edward A. Mallang Jr, in 1996.
He leaves behind his daughter, Teresa Jones (Mallang)wife of Jesse; sons, Norman "Butch" Husband of Debbie, Michael and Donald husband of Teresa; sister-in-law, Joanne Davis wife of Jim; brother-in-law, Robert Wright; also numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Norman was proud of the time he spent in the US Marine Corps. He worked at Everett Fish Company for over 40 years, which was a very enjoyable part of his life.
The funeral service was held March 1, 2013, at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 2531 Hoyt Ave., 12 p.m., with a graveside servic at Cypress Lawn Memorial Park, Everett, WA.
