Anna Mallaugstraedet Immigrated to the USA from Norway, on April 18, 1913. She later met and married C. Henry Hansen.

Anna and her son Edward arrived at a port in Nova Scotia, and then crossed the border from Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada into the USA near St Albans, Vermont (District).

They Arrived 8 April, 1913, via Ship from Liverpoole, England (Ship Name Eskimo). They had traveled by ship from Norway to England, then by rail to the port of Liverpool, where they departed for North America. They crossed into the USA 18 April, 1913.

They traveled without benefit of Edward's father (Anton Olsson Enstulen (Einstulen). Anton later emigrated to the USA and homesteaded the McKenzie Valley of North Dakota (see short bio of Anton-Below)

Anna and Henry Hansen, lived in Everett, Washington, USA in the 1950's. Their home had acreage, and a large fruit tree orchard. The dance hall they used was located in Everett, WA, near the intersection of Wall Street and Wetmore Avenue (Redmen Hall, dedicated 15 Dec, 1903)
As a young child I remember visiting the Dance Hall with my grandfather Edward Sr, and I saw Anna and Henry dancing during a lesson, and I just remember how lovely they both Danced together. A wonderful memory of my Dearest Anna. She also gave me a small keychain knife, which I still have to this day, as my only keepsake from my Great Grandmother.

Their home and acreage was located near 9028 Evergreen Way, Everett, Washington, 98204 which is now a Fluke Electronics assembly plant with a large parking lot where the old home used to be.

Short Biography;Anton Olsson Enstulen (Einstulen)

Anton Einstulen was born in Vaage in 1882, and came to Skjaak as farmer-boy. 17. March 1903 he had a son with Anne Thorstensen Bosmen, called Christian. 29. of January 1904 he had a son with Anna Hansen (Mallaugstraedet) named Eilev. In 1905 he had a daughter, Kari, with Anne Thorstensen Bosmen, and they finally married in February 1907. In the church records due to the marriage, Anton is mentioned as a railway-workman. A month later, March 1907, Anton is leaving Norway for homesteading in North-Dakota. His brother Ole, and also his sister Anna were already homesteading there.

The home of Edward A. Mallang Sr and Beatrice I Mallang (Moore) from 1950 until the passing of both.

Norman remodeled the home and occupied it until 2012.
