Mr. Trimble was born Jan. 19, 1925 in New Boston. He was a geneticist, a Lt. Col. in the U.S. Army during World War II and Korea, and a member of the First Baptist Church in Hooks, Texas.
Survivors include: his wife, "His" Elizabeth Trimble of New Boston; two daughters and sons-in-law, Joanette and Bill Underhill of Shreveport, La. and Janey and T.E. Vinci of Covington, La.; one son and daughter-in-law, Porter and Ashley Trimble of Dallas, Texas; two daughters and sons-in-law, Sherry and Lee Fleming of Henderson, Texas, and Lora and Carl Fink of Haughton, La.; one brother, Michael Trimble; one sister, Liz Atkinson; one special cousin, Milledge Hart; 12 grandchildren, Aubrey and Ashby Underhill, Jim and Tiffany Vinci, Porter, Audrey and Camille, Christopher, James ( Scooter) and Paul, Chelsea and Linzie.
