John Gorby, 80, of Rt. 1 Proctor died Tuesday, Oct 17, in Reynolds Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Pine Grove WV November 18, 1919 the son of the late George and Martha Shreve Gorby.
He was a retired farmer and an employee of Ormet. An Army veteran of WWII and a member of Antioch and Proctor Christian Churches.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife May Blake Gorby; seven brothers, Homer, Clarence, Walter, Rolle, Jim, Efrim, and Russell Gorby; a sister Amanda Credal.
