Marie Johanna "Hannah" Kuster, my great grandmother, was the daughter of Karl Kuster and Christina Reuter who were both born in Prussia, Germany. Maria was born Feb 27, 1861 and Karl died in Aug 7, 1862 then Christina remarried to Louis Fehrmann July 10, 1863 when Hannah was just 2 and a half years old.. Louis is her step-father, not her natural father.
Marie was the sister of Sophia, Louisa and Charlotte Kuster. She was half sister to Mary E., William Ernst and Charles "Carl" Fehrmann. She also had 3 step-brothers and one step-sister.. Henry, Louis C., John H. and Anna Fehrmann. These four children are children of Louis Fehrmann and his first wife Caroline Marie Gerding who died before 1863.
Hannah married James Kiester Oct 21, 1848 and together they had three children.....
1. Albert Charles Kiester .. who is also buried here.

James left this family shortly after the birth of their third child, Lillian Ida Kiester, my grandmother. I have no idea of where James went or what he did after that. I would love to know thought. God bless all, they are resting with the Lord.
