Thomas Atkinson, 83, a pioneer resident of this county, died at Phoenix, Arizona, April 9 of a heart attack. He was a brother of Mrs. Willie Graham, Vernon Atkinson and Alvin Atkinson of Quail.
Mr. Atkinson was one of the pioneer residents of the Quail section. He and his family left here a number of years ago.
His wife, who was Miss Emma Laura Stall, a member of another pioneer family, died six years ago.
Six children survive.
