Services for Aletha L. Broughton, 88, Tyler, are scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Friday at Burks-Walker-Tippit Funeral Home Chapel, Tyler with the Rev. Tom Smith officiating.
Burial will be in the Edom Cemetery.
Mrs. Broughton died Oct. 16, at her residence. She was born May 14, 1908, in Henderson County and lived in Tyler most of her life. She worked as a sales person at JC Penny in Tyler for 18 years and also worked as a private nurse. She was a member of the Cedar Street United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband of 70 years, Elbert T. Broughton of Tyler; daughter, Patsy B. Dunn of Tyler and two grandsons.
Family will receive friends 6:30-8 p.m. Thursday at the Funeral home.
