EDGERTON - Mrs. Julia Schmeling, 83, life resident of Rock County and longtime resident here until moving to the home of a daughter in Janesville several years ago, died Saturday in Caravilla where she had been a patient the past seven months.
The former Julia Ullius was born in Porter Township Jan. 14, 1885, the daughter of Phillip and Julia Chase Ullius.
Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. Charles Wilcox, 119 Martin Road, Janesville; two sons, Lester, Madison, and Stanley, Edgerton; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a brother, William Ullius, Detroit, Mich.
A son, LeRoy, Edgerton, died May 29.
Services will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow in the Ellingson Funeral Home. Burial in Fassett Cemetery.
