Robert Clyde Alcorn, son of the late Clyde and Doris (Stevens) Alcorn, was born September 18, 1943 near Annapolis and passed away February 14, 2013 at Crystal City, MO at the age of 69 years, 4 months and 27 days.

He was married September 14, 1963 to Sheila Lacy at the Assembly of God Church in Des Arc. He loved the outdoors and was a lifelong resident of Iron County. He worked as a carpenter for many years and was a member of the Labors Union Local # 916. He retired from the Bloomsdale Excavating Company in Bloomsdale, MO and was of the Baptist faith.

Preceding him in death are his parents, Clyde and Doris Alcorn, 1 brother, Roger Alcorn and 1 sister, Bonnie Mills.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Sheila Alcorn, of Annapolis, 3 sons, Michael (Lucy) Alcorn, of Annapolis, Jerry (Brooke) Alcorn, of Piedmont, Ronnie Alcorn, of Annapolis; 1 brother, Willis Alcorn, of Des Arc; 4 sisters, Melba Eggers, of Fenton, MO, Joyce Griggs, of Annapolis, Donna DeBoard, of Annapolis, Connie Pinkley, of Roselle, MO; 6 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held after 6:00 PM Saturday at the Morrison-Worley Funeral Chapel in Piedmont. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home chapel with Rev. Eugene Alcorn and Bro. Jack Ruble officiating. Interment will be in the Meadows Cemetery near Annapolis.
