Roy Prentes Allen enlisted January 12, 1944 and served in the US Army 115 Infantry, Regiment 12. The 115th was in the second wave June 6, 1944 on Omaha Beach Normandy. Allen was killed in action August 4, 1944 at the battle near Mesnil-Clinchamps, Region of Normandy.
