He was born May 18, 1930 in Cross Anchor, SC to the late Haynes A. and Bertha Sutton Weathers Wilson.
Jim was retired from Vision Hosiery after 42 years of service. He was a veteran of the US Navy and the US Army 82nd Airborne and served as Communicational Sgt. For the Regional Mental Headquarters. , He was an active member of East Garrison Baptist church, where he served on many boards and was a deacon and a greeter. Jim was an avid bowler and enjoyed walking.
He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Clifton and Glen Weathers and a sister Barbara Fredelle.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years Lois Quinn Weathers,Whom he married on August 23,1952,and
Sons Keith Wilson Weathers, Nathan Clark Weathers and wife Marcella; Jeffrey Wayde Weathers and wife Sue;
a brother Willie Boyce Weathers, and a sister Vernelle W. Long, grandchildren Christopher, Dakota, Nikki, Jason, Jessika, John and Amy and five great grandchildren; special friends Jack and Hilda Olive and their many friends at East Garrison Baptist Church
