(Jesse) Howard Grush Jr. passed away Thursday, February 28, 2013 at the Community Medical Center in Falls City. A funeral service was held at the Brethren Church, with burial at Steele Cemetery, both in Falls City.
Howard Grush Jr. was born on the family farm north of Falls City, the son of Jesse Howard and Alverta (Prichard) Grush. He was one of two children.
Howard graduated from Falls City High School in 1941, and enlisted in the Air Force(USAF)in October 1942. He served during WWII and was honorably discharged February 1946. Howard was united in marriage to Cora Lee (Stump) Grush, November 19, 1944 in Falls City, NE. They had five children. Later he was united in marriage to Beverly Thompson.

As well as 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and a sister, Ruth Wisner, of CA.
