Harold was born in Bay City, Michigan and grew up in Alma, Michigan and lived most of his life in the state of Michigan. He moved to Leesville, Louisiana seven years ago. He was employed with LBM at Fort Polk where he shuttled our wounded warriors from Ft. Polk to Million Air Airport in Alexandria, LA. He was a life member and Commander of the Sons of American Legion Post 387, member of the Legion Riders and member of the pool league of the American Legion Post 145.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Darrell Hicks.
He survived by his wife 22 years of Christine Lynn Braman of Anacoco, LA; son, James Braman of Mt. Pleasant, MI; daughters, Michele Dickenson of Jeffersonville, IN & Kelli Boyer of Leesville, LA; brothers, Terry Braman of Alma, MI, Walter Braman of Edmore, MI; & William Hicks of Noblesville, IN; sisters, Ardis Meyer of Granger, IN & Nancy Shugars of Pueblo, CO; grandchildren, Taylor, James, Madelynn, Codey & Zachariah and great grandchild, Kylee.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
