Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Rackliffe Funeral Home in Belfast with the Rev. Frank Pitman officiating for Frank Finley Sr., 84 of Belfast who died March 31, 1984 at a Belfast hospital.

He was born in Wilmington, Delaware January 1, 1900 (January 1, 1901) the son of James and Lottie Finley (James Finley & Mary Kelly).

He was a veteran of World War I having served in the U.S. Army. For many years he was employed at a local shoe factory. He was a member of Equity Grange and the Frank D. Hazeltine Post American Legion No. 40 & 8 of Belfast.

He is survived by his wife Elizabeth (Germain) Finley of Belfast four sons James and Frank both of Belfast, Raymond of New Hampshire and Maurice of Richmond, one daughter Ramona Packard of Springfield, Mass; one step daughter Caroline Ward of Belfast, seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his first wire Cora (Phillips) Finley in 1965.

Spring internment will be in the Grove Cemetery of Belfast.
