OBITUARY

MACOMB - Services for Fred W. Collins, 77, of Macomb, will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Dodsworth-Piper-Wallen Funeral Chapel in Macomb, the Rev. Edward Hoffman officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Visitation will be anytime until time of services at the funeral home.

Mr. Collins died at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at his home.

He was born Oct. 4, 1903, in Heyworth, Ill., the son of Clark N. and Jennie Denman Collins. He married Doris L. Mote Nov. 21, 1941. She preceded him in death. He moved to Macomb in 1929 and is the retired owner of Owl Truck Service. He also owned and operated Plainview Lounge and Motel. He was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, Loyal Order of the Moose and VFW. He formerly resided in Shelbina, Mo.

Surviving are a sister, Pearl See of Peoria; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and two sisters.
