Danny Shayne Bratcher, 66, of Calvert City, KY passed away at 9:45 p.m., Friday, March 1, 2013 at Baptist Health Hospital in Paducah.
Mr. Bratcher was born on May 12, 1946 in McCracken County, KY. He retired from the Teamsters Union in West Chicago, Ill. and was of the Baptist Faith.
He is survived by one son, Terry Bratcher of Crest Hill, Ill; three daughters, Penny Story and husband Randy of Calvert City, KY; Gena Fedrowitz and husband Charles of Kirkland, Ill and Brianne Bratcher of Elgin, Ill; one sister Sheila McMurtry of Gilbertsville, KY; ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Wallace W. Bratcher. His parents were Sillus O. Bratcher, Jr. and Lavena Mae "Memi" Noles Bratcher.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, March 4, 2013, at Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home with Randy Story officiating. Friends may call after 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at Calvert City Cemetery.
