Helen Cecelia (Blakey) Kingsbury was born on February 7, 1929 in San Antonio, Bexar County, Texas, the daughter of Mary "Agnes" (Turner) (Blakey) DeDecker (1897–1983) and her 1st husband Charles Rufus Blakey Sr (1879–1936).


She graduated from Ursaline Academy in 1947 where she was known as A Pearl of a Girl.


Helen married Robert Joseph Kingsbury (1924–2005) on November 25, 1949 in Corpus Christi Cathedral, and he was the son of Leo Marshall Kingsbury (1890–1964) and Alma Theodora (Miller) Kingsbury (1904–1973).


She retired from Bank of America, San Bernardino, as Vice-president / Manager after 25 years of service. She was also an active member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Montclair before moving to Washington in 2007. A loving, compassionate woman, Helen remained bright-eyed and smiling despite her Alzheimer's disease.


Helen was 84 years old when she passed away on February 24, 2013 in Chelan County, Washington.


Preceded in death by her husband and by her eldest daughter Geralyn Randell ( –Aug 2010), she was survived by three daughters in Ohio, Washington and California, seven grand-children, five step-grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and a son-in-love.


Funeral Services were at Draper's Mortuary on Mountain Avenue in Ontario, California, and burial was in Bellevue Mausoleum.
