STEPHAN, MRS. BERTHA M., age 80, of Canton, died Tuesday in Wilmington, OH. She was the widow of Edmund A., who died in 1949. Survived by seven daughters, Mrs. C. L. (Jeanne) Willaman of North Canton, Mrs. Charles (Gertrude) Biltz of Rootstown, Mrs. Donis (Shirley) Wilson of Canton, Mrs. William (Marilyn) Dieble of Wilmington, Mrs. Harry (Rita) Schuster of Mesa, AZ, Mrs. Cletus (Mary Alice) McCauley of North Canton and Mrs. Nancy Lewis of Berkeley, CA; four sons, Edmund A. Jr. of El Sobrante, CA, Richard of Massillon, Robert of Canton and William of Pleasant Hill, CA; a sister, Mrs. Ruth Mizer of Massillon; 49 grandchildren, and 48 great-grandchildren. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and the Rosary Altar Society and TOPS #081076, Canton.
