Former Area Man Succumbs in California
Newmansville--Relatives throughout this area received word recently of the death of Malcolm D. Beyeler of Phoenis, Arizona.
Mr. Beyeler died at 7 am Friday, December 6 in the hospital in California.
Before going to Arizona Mr and Mrs. Beyeler had spent almost 25 years in South America wher he was employed for the Tropical Oil Company.
Mr Beyeler was born and reared near Bradford where he was educated. He was awarded a scholarship and was in Washington, D.C. later chosen to go to South America. He was returned to the United States in 1951 and underwent surgery for a heart condition.
O June 1, 1933, he married the former Mabel Allio, daughter of the late Mr and Mrs. James N Allio of Newmansville.
Body will be rtemoved to the Koch-Chatley Funeral Home at the corner of South Avenue and Cordon Street in Bradford today and funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm Friday. interment will be in the McKean Memorial Park Cemetery.
Surviving besides his widow are a sister, Mrs Anna Lanier of Buffalo, New York; three brothers, Fred of Chicago, Illinois; and Ray and Carl of Bradford.
Brothers and sisters of Mrs. Beyeler living in this area are Mrs. Wesley Hinderer, Titusville RD; Mrs L. L. Wolfe, Fryburg; Mrs. Donald Walter, Leeper; Charles Allio, Tylersburg; Joseph Allio, Oil City; and J. R. Allio of Newmansville and Mrs. Julia Cummings of Bradford.
